- מוֹרָשָׁהf. (b. h.; יָרַש) inheritance. Snh.59a (ref. to Deut. 33:4) לנו מ׳ ולא להם it is our inheritance, not theirs. Ib. מאן דאמר מ׳ מיגזלוכ׳ according to him who reads morashah, he (the gentile studying the Law) robs (us). Ber.57a, a. e. אל תקרי מ׳ אלא מְאוֹרָשָׂה read not (Deut. L, 100.) morashah inheritance, but morasah (betrothed), v. אָרַס. Ex. R. s. 33.
